Few Shall Return

Few Shall Return is a 7.5-minute multiplayer dungeon extraction game. It’s been out in Early Access on Steam since July 21, 2026.

Here is the TL;DR:

• Each round only takes 7 minutes and a half
• Multiplayer with up to 8 players (private game or random matchmake)
• Extraction: bring equipment with you in the dungeon but only keep what you bring out (if you escape)
• It is both competitive and collaborative at the same time (we call it “coopetive”)
• PvPvE and friendly fire is always on so you might want to use that to your advantage
• Infinite, procedurally generated maps (here’s how we generate them)

There are two characters so far. Molokhia is a crusader chef who can heal or poison the others with pie. He’s built like a tank and can carry a lot, but he’s slow. Sprout is a ranged gambler who can gamble Unrefined Corium to spawn weapons or, on a bad roll, an enemy. Sprout is quick but can’t carry much. More characters are coming during Early Access.
